Online Listing of Consultants - Top
CorrosionSource is currently building its database of consultants. This
can be done by individual consultants through the
online form. This form includes data fields to specify education,
geographical area of services, areas of specialization, and professional
consulting rates, in addition to other relevent types of information.
This listing is open to all independent consultants as well as those
that are currently employed with academic, technical and commercial
organizations.
Using the Corrosion Network - Top
The Corrosion Network facilitates identification of listed consultants through online, keyword searching functions using selected fields of information. CorrosionSource will also provide capabilities that will facilitate online consultation. It will provide secure areas – "Virtual Conference Rooms" - where clients will hold consultations and archive discussions and work product. These facilities will include the ability to work with individual consultants on a one-on-one basis or in sessions, that will bring together multiple consultants and/or clients on an as needed basis.
The database of online Consultants Network will be built, starting in November 2000. This initial process will continue until March 2001. During this time period, there will be no listing fee for consultants that establish their listing. However, consultants desirous of listing beyond May 2001 will be required to pay a directory listing fee.
