CALL FOR PAPERS
In response to requests, we are making the deadline for submission a "virtual deadline". It exists somewhere in space and time. Since there will be key word searchability and the conference will run for six months, the organizing committee decided it would benefit all to welcome papers throughout the program.
The papers presented at InterCorr/96 focus on the use of materials, processing and service parameters, and laboratory and field data to assess severity of corrosion and the resistance of metals and alloys to various forms of corrosive degradation (i.e. weight loss corrosion, pitting, crevice attack and stress corrosion cracking). Specific emphasis is given to:
- the application of mechanistic, algorithmic and heuristic relationships and the integration of metallurgical, mechanical and environmental variables to produce predictive models.
- the development of predictive laboratory data which can be correlated with service experience.
Sessions highlight the results of research into structure /property relationships involving variable such as composition, heat treatment, cold working of aluminum, copper, iron, nickel and titanium based materials that can be used in making predictive assessment of corrosion resistance.
Those interested in participation in the technical session through presentation of a paper, should provide a written abstract of up to 200 words. Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to Ms, Delia Cuellar at cli@clihouston.com.
InterCorr/96 papers will utilize a short form technical paper format that will limit the length of each section of the paper and the number of figures. See Technical Paper Format
