HI,
we are currently trying to find out wether there is a way to protect galvanised sheet iron against corrosion.
The sheets used are about 0.35 mm thin. As we have to cut triangular teeth out of these sheets which stand upwards, we have lots of unprotected edges, which invite corrosion. Being a product for the building industry, these edges need to be protected.
However hot-dip galvanising is out of the question - the sheets warp, and electroplating appears not to offer enough protection.
Do you know if there is a commercially and readily available solution which might help?
All the best,
Steffan Klein
