Surely the guard ring gave higher corrosion rates
with chloride because the concrete resistivity was
lower. What were the two resistivities ?

Have you tried LPR without the guard ring ? I don't
think it does anything - try a finite element model,
including the wet tissue accessory of that particular
make of kit and you'll see !

Figure 2 seems to show no relationship between Icorr
and Ecorr. Confirms that NACE criteria are c**p.

Figure 4 shows that the corroding are for the
uncracked prism was smaller - you have to show current
density for current noise.

Maybe a noise analysis of the 'this line is squigglier
than that one' type is not sufficient ?
