Coatings and Linings

In many cases, storage of chemical, hydrocarbon and other potentially hazardous wastes is attained through the use of steel or earthen structures which utilize polymeric liners. For these materials to be successful barriers they must be able to withstand the both physical and chemical attack from the service environment as well as from the surrounding environment. Furthermore, proper selection of coatings and linings involves important economic considerations as well since the viability of certain processes may relate to the cost and serviceability of the materials of construction.
